Global Warming

I like any person with half a brain would be concerned about the earth overheating and causing us all to catch a bad dose of death, but recently i have come across a fact that actually global warming is just a theory not a proven fact. What is a fact is that the earth does heat and cool over time and our climate will change regardless.

Apparently the Sun is coming into it sun spot season and its expected to be not as active as the last 11 years. 'So what?' you say, well the next 11 years could see the earth actually cool. If this is the case the generally theory in the scientific wolrd is that the rise in temperature over the last decade was due to the solar cycle and not carbon emissions, now won't those tofu eating tweed merchants look silly on their recycled BMX.
